  1. SSH into the mnode with a Cluster admin account. In this example, I’ll be using the ‘admin’ account. **If you are using special characters in your password, please use ‘ before and after the password. i.e. ‘p@ssw0rd!#$’
  2. sudo update-fdva
  3. sudo sfinstall SF-ClusterManagement-vIP -u admin -p yourpassword -s mnode-IP “mnode repository”
  4. sudo sfinstall SF-ClusterManagement-vIP -u admin -p yourpassword -l
  5. sudo sfinstall SF-ClusterManagement-vIP -u admin -p yourpassword solidfire-san-XXX-X.X.X.X.X.X (SolidFire Element OS version)
  6. cat /solidfire/version – This command will give you the updated Element OS version
