Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)

The Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) for Azure is a full lifecycle framework that enables cloud architects, IT professionals, and business decision makers to achieve their cloud adoption goals. It provides best practices, documentation, and tools that help you create and implement business and technology strategies for the cloud.

Red8’s Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) workshop is a series of eight one-hour sessions where a Cloud Architect walks an organization through Microsoft’s CAF documentation.  An organization can obviously read through and implement it themselves, but this is a guided approach with some real-world insights and recommendations.

Landing Zones

An Azure landing zone is the output of a multi-subscription Azure environment that accounts for scale, security governance, networking, and identity. An Azure landing zone enables application migration, modernization, and innovation at enterprise-scale in Azure. This approach considers all platform resources that are required to support the customer’s application portfolio and doesn’t differentiate between infrastructure as a service or platform as a service.

Azure Migrate

Some customers are ready to move workloads to the cloud, and Red8 can help facilitate that with Azure Migrate.

Azure Migrate provides a simplified migration, modernization, and optimization service for Azure. All pre-migration steps such as discovery, assessments, and right-sizing of on-premises resources are included for infrastructure, data, and applications. Azure Migrate’s extensible framework allows for integration of third-party tools.

Well-Architected Review (WAR)
